What is this blog thing anyway?

So, I'm not really sure what a blog is. But, somehow I think this will be a great way to keep everyone up to date on my life...and help me keep up with what's happening in yours! This is pretty much a test. We'll see how it works out...I'm not too great at keeping up with technology!!
